August 18 & 19: Mendelssohn’s “Elijah”

August 10, 2017 by Barbara

Linda Andrew-Marshall wrote:

I’m thrilled to be singing with the San Francisco Choral Society’s performances of Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19 at 8 p.m. at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco.

This is such exciting music and I love singing with this 150-voice chorus, conducted by Maestro Robert Geary. I enjoyed performing this piece with BCCO three years ago with Maestro Ming Luke and there are approximately 6–7 current and former members of BCCO singing in these SF Choral Society concerts. Tickets still available online through the City Box Office website or by calling 415.392.4400.
